Alabama peaches are the best right now: so sweet and juicy! If you’re looking for a healthy dessert (under 200 calories) with fresh peaches, read on. I quickly created this individual Healthy Peach Crisp recipe with these fresh jewels which came out spectacular! All you will need is whole wheat flour, flaxseed meal, raw sugar and oats for the topping. I used as little butter as possible. You can prepare these ahead of time and warm them up in the microwave when you’re ready to serve them. Enjoy this summertime recipe during the week or for weekend get togethers.
Over the weekend, my kids and I bought some amazing peaches and they begged for me to make a Peach Crisp. My son wanted to know the difference between a cobbler and a crisp, and found this recipe on Allrecipes.com. A crisp is typically a crumble topping similar to a streusel or granola that is sprinkled over the top. A cobbler is more of a biscuit-type crust which is typically spooned over the top. My son prepared the entire recipe on his own, so we called it “easy”. Also, my daughter styled and took the photo (pretty great for her first try). Enjoy this peach dessert while peaches are still at their peak. It’s perfect for Labor Day too!
