It has been an amazing healthy summer, and I have some BIG news! I am working on my third internationally published cookbook! YAY!!! This book is a “Healthy Recipe” topic which is still hush hush for now. This Easy Homemade Muesli┬árecipe might be in one of the chapters. It’s filled with oats, seeds and your favorite dried fruits. My kids have been indulging on this cereal (having no clue how many healthy seeds are included). Enjoy for breakfast with milk or yogurt or just as a snack. Happy Monday, love all of you!

Easy Homemade Muesli

10 minutes


4 cups


2 cups bran flakes
11/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
1 teaspoon ground flaxseeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon hemp seeds
11/2 mixed dried fruits
1/2 cup mixed nuts (walnuts, cashews, almonds, pecans), chopped


1. Preheat the oven to 350┬░F.

2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread bran flakes and oats on baking sheet and top with cinnamon. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the grains look lightly toasted (but not browned). Let cool completely. Stir in the seeds, dried fruits and nuts. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
