My 3 kids and I are on a smoothie kick, and I made this Peach Cobbler Protein Smoothie this morning which was a huge home run! I used fresh peaches, granola, protein powder, nonfat Greek yogurt and frozen peaches or ice. Don’t forget. If you don’t have fabulous fresh peaches, frozen peaches are just as healthy as fresh. Peaches contain 10 different vitamins. A large peach provides Vitamin A, which is important to healthy vision, Vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B-6, niacin, folate and more.
Peach Cobbler Protein Smoothie
2 ripe fresh peaches, pitted and cut into slices
2 tablespoons nonfat plain Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup granola
2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
1 cup cubed ice or frozen peaches
1. Process all ingredients in a blender or nutribullet and process until smooth. Top with granola and serve.
