Great Family Healthy Site & Sports Authority $100 Giveaway: Together Counts

Being a full-time working mom with 3 kids isn’t always easy. I am very fortunate that my company, daily work and passion revolves around food, health and lifestyle. I am so excited to be a part of the Together Counts campaign asking families across the country to take a pledge to get healthy and active. Together Counts believes that the most powerful way of gaining a healthy lifestyle is by working together as a family. Eating meals together as well as being physically active together can only make families healthier and happier.

 

The Together Counts program empowers families and helps them balance and learn lifelong healthy habits. This site really helps keep you on track.

  1. Alison, What a beautiful family. J & S share a passion for biking. We go the gym together. We always have tons of veggies at the dinner table but recently I made baked soft shell fish tacos and granola apple muffins. Great giveaway!!

  2. We love to be outside. My boys are young but are starting to explore sports right now. Our favorite activity right now is to spend time kicking the soccer ball around.

  3. We love going hiking in the mountains when it’s cooler out, but every other time we love taking 5 mile walks on Columbia’s River Walk. So fun! 🙂 Our little dog, Leland, comes along for the exercise and to socialize with the other dogs, of course. 😉 Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. When my kids were younger we really enjoyed swimming and walking. We used to take nightly walks with our dog, and it was a family tradition. Now that our kids are in college, my husband and I love to bike and go hiking. Atleast once a week, we go out to Oak Mountain to ride our bikes and hike.

  5. We love putting the baby in a back-carrier and taking the older two kids hiking. And my son is starting to express an interest in running with us, so one of us often comes home from a longer run and then takes him out on a short run for a few blocks.

  6. My family loves to hike together – we always look for different birds, plants and animals. It is really a lot of fun.
