Baked Vegetable Dip and Visa Giveaway

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s time to gear up for holiday parties, get-togethers and for Christmas dinner. I am always looking for easy entertaining recipes, and this Baked Vegetable Dip is the perfect crowd pleaser. This recipe starts with frozen vegetables which simplifies the preparation process eliminating washing and chopping. Also, people tend to forget the frozen fruits and vegetables are just as healthy as fresh. They are picked at their peak season and flash frozen, preserving all of their vitamins and nutrients. This Baked Vegetable Dip recipe is economical, and it’s a delight served warm out of the oven.

In honor of the holidays and cheers to using frozen foods and Easy Home Meals, I have a great holiday Visa Giveaway.  I am giving away a $100 Visa gift card just in time for holiday shopping.

To enter, leave a comment telling me what is your favorite frozen food dish that you secretly pass off as homemade?  For more chances to win, do the following and leave a comment telling me you did. The winner will be chosen randomly on Monday, December 16th at 8 A.M. Good Luck! 🙂

Easy and Light Cinco De Mayo Appetizer: Southwestern Spinach Dip

IMG_1740

I’ve had several requests for spinach dip recipes, and this Southwestern Spinach Dip is one with a twist just in time for Cinco De Mayo. Use Pepper Jack cheese, green chiles and fresh tomatoes to flavor this wonderful appetizer. Just beware! It’s very addictive so purchase plenty of chips. Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Labor Day Low-Fat Appetizer: Spinach Artichoke Dip

Labor Day is just around the corner, and so many friends have been asking me for recipes, especially appetizers. I prepared this today in Nashville on Newschannel 5 “Talk of the Town”. The television crew couldn’t believe this recipe was low-fat. See many recipes such as this in my new book, “Taste the Good Things in Life” which is available on my “Shop” page on my website.
