Happy New Years! We are hanging out watching football today. Did you see the Texas A & M/Duke game? Wow! For New Years Day, I made this Nuts and Bolts recipe. This super easy snack mix is ideal for football games, Super Bowl sunday and March Madness. My kids can’t stop eating it, so I assume that is a good sign. 10 July Fourth Favorites

Oh no. The summer is going by way too fast. It’s been great so far, and there’s nothing better then having relaxed kids and a more relaxed me, (not having to rush to school and after school activities). July fourth is a week away so I thought I would share a few of my favorite July Fourth Favorites starting with my Fourth of July Buttermilk Cupcakes. Have a great week ahead and here’s to a wonderful summer!

One of my subscribers from Florida, Melanie, asked me to make these delicious treats and put them up on my blog. I wasn’t familiar with this recipe or idea, but some people are. If you haven’t ever seen this, you will love it. They are only 3 ingredients, and everyone loves them. I taught a private cooking lesson today for an amazing and adorable second grader, and she even said, “What a great party idea!”
