Did you know plums are incredibly super healthy? The health benefits of plums are truly endless from indigestion relief, flu fighting properties, and even relief in anxiety-related problems. The antioxidant power of plums can even help osteoporosis, macular degeneration, cancer, diabetes and obesity. They also help promote healthy levels of cholesterol, cardiovascular health, cognitive health, immune system strength, cellular health, electrolyte balance, the nervous system and aids in skin care and blood clotting. Need I say more? One of the unique things about plums is that there are so many varieties available. Did you know this picture (above) was of plums? I purchased these at a local famers market.
