3 Ingredient Easter Bars

My daughter, Leigh, saw a version of this recipe for 3 Ingredient Easter Bars on the blog Chelsea’s Messy Apron, and she begged me to get all of the ingredients to make them. I had refrigerated cookie dough at home so we twisted Chelsea’s recipe for Confetti Bars into a creation of our own. I’ll admit that Leigh did most of it on her own, and with my suggestion only needed 3 ingredients.  They are a super sweet dessert just in time for Easter!

Easy Homemade Food Gift: Holiday Cracker Jacks

I love working on homemade holiday food gift recipes this time of year, and my 3 kids love helping me create them too. This creative idea for Homemade Cracker Jacks is a simple recipe that adults and the kids can enjoy. Just pick up a small one dollar item to put in the box as a toy. I will be making this recipe this Tuesday on NBC “Daytime Alabama” as well as two others, and this recipe will also be featured in the December issue of Birmingham Magazine.

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites for Halloween

I’m so excited to share this recipe for White Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites just in time for Halloween. My incredibly helpful and talented friend, Nancy, told me about this recipe a month or so ago. Apparently, this is one of the most popular recipes in the Junior League of Birmingham Cookbook“Tables of Content“, and I can see why. They are so easy, and they make a huge amount. The best part of all is that they freeze beautifully. These White Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites in this photo are actually a variation of a recipe. We omitted the marshmallows and used cocktail peanuts, and instead of spreading on wax paper, we made them into individual bites. Just be sure to stir in the M & M’s after the white chocolate has cooled slightly so they don’t melt. Enjoy these on Halloween, Christmas, any holiday or just for fun :).
