Saint Lucia Hosts November Health and Wellness Month

Caribbean; St.Lucia uncrowded expanse of beach, Pigeon Island

Saint Lucia invites travelers to experience new levels of rejuvenation and adventure this November during the island’s annual Health & Wellness Month. Inspired by the vast array of wellness-related activities, Saint Lucia’s leading hotels will offer value-added packages and discounted rates. Those seeking quality time with the great outdoors can fly through the rainforest canopies and zip-line with Rain Forest Adventures, explore Saint Lucia’s pristine coral reefs by SNUBA, cruise the rugged trails at Anse Chastanet on a jungle bike, and hike forested paths leading to the peaks of the iconic Piton Mountains. Basking in the ocean spray, yoga on white, sandy beaches, luxurious spa treatments, and the naturally healing Sulphur Springs mud baths will leave you completely refreshed. Here are 4 resorts and offers I recommend checking out:

My 2013 Travel Year in Review

Wow. Writing this seems tougher than I thought as it has been a year of many ups and downs. The ups have included the continued health of my father, the blessing of my three children, my two sisters and my brother along with my amazing work and passion that has come together and brought so many incredible opportunities my way.  I have spent so much time learning and thinking about gratitude this year. I am so very thankful.

Here’s a little tour into my 2013 travel year in review. I am so grateful to have experienced all of these breathtaking views and places and the many fabulous people who I have met along the way. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2014!  The photo above was taken at Jade Mountain in St. Lucia early last month.
