Yesterday, I did a television cooking segment for NBC 13 Daytime Alabama featuring fresh Chilton County Peaches. One of the three recipes I made was Pork Chops with Peach Salsa which was featured on my site a few weeks back. It had such huge views that I was requested to feature it again.  Here you go.  I hope you enjoy.

Gluten-Free, Low Carb and Low Calorie: Flank Steak with Tomatoes and Feta

IMG_3676

My sister, Natalie, asked me for some main-dish dinner ideas since her two daughters are now home from college for the summer. This recipe for Flank Steak with Tomatoes and Feta is perfect for weeknights and weekends, especially since it’s grilling season (and Memorial Day is coming up). It’s so simple to prepare using fresh basil, oregano, garlic, fresh lemon juice and red wine vinegar. And who says beef isn’t healthy? Flank Steak with Tomatoes and Feta only has 185 calories, 29 grams of protein and only 2 grams of fat and carbohydrates per serving.

I also thank those of you who have taken the time to make comments, and the food websites, such as http://www.slashfood.com and http://www.thekitchn.com, who have written about me and my recipes in such a positive way. Lastly, I thank my family and close friends for bearing with me (you know who you are), allowing me to spend and focus so much of my time and energy to create wonderful content that people seem to love. Happy Holidays again! Best, Alison
