I’ve been a fan of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar for years. It used to be my parent’s favorite special occasion restaurant. I always get a smile on my face when my husband says, “Let’s go to Fleming’s for dinner.”

I have some exciting news! Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar will be hosting Thanksgiving for the first time ever with a four-course menu, including traditional favorites like a mixed herb roasted turkey breast and more (only $39.95 per person). They are also offering a special menu for the kids. Take a look at the menu:

Wait there’s more… On Thanksgiving weekend (Friday-Saturday), Fleming’s will also offer all wine on the Fleming’s 100 wine list at $10 per glass. How awesome is that?

With lots of turkey leftovers on-hand, Executive Chef Russell Skall with Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar has shared his recipe for Turkey Fried Rice, which take less than 30 minutes to prepare. In honor of Thanksgiving, I am hosting a giveaway for a chance to win a $100 dining card to enjoy at Fleming’s on Thanksgiving weekend. Turkey Fried Rice

Cook Time:

15 minutes

Yield:

4 servings

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons sesame oil
1/2 red bell pepper, diced
1/4 yellow onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 green onions, diced
11/2 cups cooked white or brown rice
4 to 5 ounce leftover turkey, chopped
1/4 cup frozen peas, thawed
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

1. Heat sesame oil in a wok on high heat. Add red pepper, onion and rice and saute 5 minutes and the rice starts to get a bit crispy on the edges. Add garlic, green onions and diced turkey and cook for 2 minutes. Add peas and cook for 2 1/2 minutes tossing all well. Make a well in the center of the wok and add the scrambled egg then stir until cooked breaking up into small pieces.

2. Combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire and black pepper the stir into the rice cooking for 30 seconds.
