Maple Roasted Asparagus
4 to 6 servings
1 bunch of asparagus
2 cloves of slivered garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
2. Place asparagus spears on a lightly greased large baking sheet.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup and balsamic vinegar. Pour over asparagus. Season with salt and pepper and toss to coat evenly.
4. Roast 12 to 15 minutes, turning once at the halfway point. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves.
