Waffle Bananas Foster

15 minutes

Yield:

4 servings

Ingredients:

4 Kelloggs Eggo Waffles, toasted
1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pint vanilla ice cream
2 bananas, thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Preparation:

1. In a large, deep skillet melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. When mixture begins to bubble, place bananas and pecans in pan. Cook until bananas are heated, 1 to 2 minutes.

2. Place one waffle on a serving plate. Top with ice cream, sauce and remaining waffle. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
