Kids Favorite Panini Sandwich

Okay. I have found my newest favorite kitchen appliance. Frigidaire’s 5-in-1 Grill and Griddle has recently launched at Target just in time for Father’s Day, wedding gifts or college graduate gifts. My kids and I are addicted to using it this summer making sandwiches such as this Kids Favorite Panini Sandwich and so many more. They can even use this on their own with minimal supervision (of course, my youngest is 12).

This panini maker is so fabulous! Kids Favorite Panini

Yield:

4 servings

Ingredients:

8 slices marbled rye bread
1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
8 ounces salami, sliced
1 cup arugula or baby spinach leaves
4 slices baby swiss cheese

Preparation:

1. Place bread on a work surface. Spread 4 bread slices equally with mayonnaise. Top equally with salami, arugula and cheese. Cover with remaining bread slices, and press together gently.

2. Place sandwiches on a preheated panini grille coated with cooking spray. Cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
