Acai Pomegranate Smoothie and Blendtec Blender Giveaway

I hope everyone has had a great holiday weekend. Did you go shopping? I am so excited about sharing my recipe for Acai Pomegranate Smoothie (my kid’s favorite). It tastes great, and it’s full of vitamins and antioxidants. Now, I can’t wait to announce my Blendtec Blender giveaway: One lucky winner will receive the Total Blender Combo including the Fourside and Wildside Jar, a $474 value. This blender is my newest all-time favorite all-in-one kitchen appliance. Not only does it make the best smoothies, but I have used it to prepare dips, fondues, ice cream, salad dressings, sauces, soups, milkshakes and even bread dough.

My kids have been making smoothies and milkshakes daily, and I feel great letting them try different fruits and yogurts to create new concoctions. Whether you’re in college, single or have a family, using a Blendtec is a great way to stay healthy this time of year. The winner will be able to choose a white, red or black model, and this is one of the best holiday presents ever.

  1. Words can’t even describe how much I need this blender. Our current one takes about 10 minutes total to make a simple smoothie. Pathetic, right?

    I followed you on Twitter!

  2. Asked to join the Mailing list for this blog..used my other email address (the one I used for subscriptions). Waiting on the confirmation.

  3. Hi Allison,
Fred and I are Donne’s, and Packy’s, Aunt and Uncle. We met you in the Frankfurt Airport Lounge and have been following your wonderful blog since then. Of all people who need the Blentec it would be us…..Fred has made smoothies (AKA Breakfast Drinks) for over 40 years. We have been through so many blenders through the years and this may have to be the next one we buy. Thanks for all your wonderful recipes and bring this machine to our attention. We didn’t enter the ‘giveaway’ since we don’t do Twitter, but hope you get lots of new fans. We’ll be your fans forever ’cause we love the way you cook! Thanks, Judy and Fred

  4. Try using Amafruits acai frozen packs. If you live in the midwest near Chicago, they’re available in many stores. If not, they sell bulk online at great prices http://www.amafruits.com. They are the best acai packs you can get, with much more fiber, omegas and antioxidants than the others I’ve tried.
